finally back to singapore
the bag is still unpacked
the room is still in a mess
the piles of to-do lists are increasing by the day
and i’m still tired
but the good thing was
i bought myself a white blackberry onyx to replace the irritating lousy battery life of the older white blackberry bold
kinda preferred the bold keypad and screen size though but the onyx is simply ![]()
power battery plus no lag, everything is so much faster now
had just better organized my things into the phone
my cals and everything
it’s something like a “settle” down with this phone

okay back to the trip !
here’s a picture first !
as the sun rises a while more
i went up to the highest deck of the ship alone
against the wind
i watched nature’s beauty
i felt refreshed
a burst of energy went in as the sun rises higher
and then i saw the first one !
the first rainbow of three that morning
it was in a distance i know
i didn’t had time to change my lens to get a closer shot
i knew rainbows don’t stay for long
so i grabbed that shot
and then 2 – 3 more shots later
it began grew thinner
and that was it
i stayed on the deck for a while longer watching the skies and the distant horizon
i later witnessed two more rainbows when i went down to the gathering area
that marked my very first full rainbow shot
i believe i’ve shot a full rainbow before
but none this full
if you know what i mean
like sea sky rainbow
no other obstructions to its view
like the hdb blocks in my previous full rainbow shot
a sad thing was
even with 10mm i was kinda a little too near to the rainbow and the position of the ship i was on were simply saddening
i had hoped i could shoot the rainbow with an island in the middle of it instead of being beside it
i had to wait for the slow ship to move further to grab that full shot
well the longer you wait
the thinner the rainbow gets
and that was all i had
still, nothing to shout about
and soon
a couple of card games later
the destination island
- more soon
